About the project

An online platform that combines the sale of real estate, vehicles, and heavy machinery with a business banking services aggregator. Users can find an asset and immediately submit an application for a loan, leasing, or acquiring, without leaving the site.

GORA.MARKET is an innovative online platform that reimagines the classic marketplace model. The project combines listings for the sale of real estate, vehicles, and heavy machinery with a comprehensive business banking services aggregator.

Core concept:

For buyers — the ability to find an asset and immediately apply for a loan, leasing, or acquiring, without leaving the platform.
For sellers — free listing placement with a cashback model and access to an audience of pre-qualified buyers.
For financial partners — a direct channel to the target audience at the moment of decision-making.

My role: Full-stack Developer

Responsible for building both the server-side (backend) and client-side (frontend) of the platform. My work played a decisive role in shaping the core functionality and ensuring high performance.

Key tasks and achievements:

🔹 Financial module — designed and implemented the functionality for publishing banking and leasing offers.
🔹 “Jobs” section — developed from concept to final launch.
🔹 User account — completely redesigned and improved, enhancing interface usability and expanding functionality.
🔹 Performance — increased site speed by 30% through the implementation of caching mechanisms and optimization of the database structure and queries.
🔹 Code quality — carried out large-scale refactoring, significantly improving quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
🔹 VIN integration — implemented a VIN-code verification service for automatic filling of vehicle specifications.
🔹 Communications — integrated third-party email and SMS services, creating a reliable two-factor authentication (2FA) and login confirmation system.
🔹 Mass notifications — designed and developed a mass messaging system via SMS and email.

The challenge

The platform had no way to offer users banking products at the moment they were deciding to purchase an asset.

Solution

Designed and implemented functionality for publishing offers from banks and leasing companies, linking them to listing cards and delivering relevant products via a REST API.

Results

Users gained the ability to apply for a loan, leasing, or acquiring directly on the platform; financial partners gained a direct channel to the target audience.

The challenge

There was no dedicated section for publishing job openings, which limited the platform's value for the business audience.

Solution

Developed the “Jobs” section from scratch — from concept and database structure to final launch: CRUD, filters, publishing, and frontend display.

Results

The section was successfully launched and became an additional channel for attracting and retaining the B2B audience on the platform.

The existing user account was inconvenient, functionally limited, and made it difficult for users to work with listings and applications.

Solution

Completely redesigned the architecture and interface of the user account: improved UX, restructured sections, expanded functionality, and optimized backend interaction.

Improved interface usability, reduced time for routine user actions, and expanded account functionality.

Integrated an external VIN-code verification service with automatic filling of vehicle specifications in the listing creation form.

The listing creation process became simpler and faster, the number of errors decreased, and data quality in vehicle cards improved.

Integrated third-party email and SMS services, implemented a login confirmation system and two-factor authentication based on JWT.

Designed and developed a mass notification system using integrated SMS and email services, including templates and recipient management.

Improved page indexing, increased organic traffic potential, and better manageability of SEO parameters from the admin panel.
