I care about business outcomes, not architecture for architecture's sake. A system should be understandable to the next developer, fast enough for its users and flexible enough for its next phase.
My strongest area is the intersection of backend engineering and product delivery: APIs, data-heavy features, queues, caching, search, third-party integrations and Vue interfaces.
When an application slows down, I prefer measuring first: profiling queries, checking cache hit rates, tracing queues and finding the actual bottleneck before changing architecture.
